Barack Obama the 44th President

Maybe I never paid too much attention to past inaugurations; but this year, for the first time ever, as unemployed as I am, I took this opportunity by waking up early and sat myself in front of the TV for almost the whole entire day to devote my time to watch the inauguration and its news coverage. I was moved, proud, and so full of hope.

It's amazing to me that the President memorized his whole speech! That is truly amazing.

It definitely is worth an all-day celebration. Our nation is changing. I really hope that with Obama being President it will bring even more acceptance and less prejudice and discrimination among us. I also hope that it will create an even more sense of equality for all. One day I want people to just ask me what my name is, instead of what ethnicity I am.

Go Obama! Equality for all!
